Like the CZ 75, the Baby Eagle III has a slide that rides inside the frame rail instead of outside the frame like a Colt 1911. In fact, the Baby Eagle III’s design is closer to the CZ 75 than the larger semiautos from Magnum Research. The Baby Eagle III will appeal to fans of single-action/double-action semiautos because it offers a robust design and excellent build quality, but it’s worth noting that the Baby Eagle shares little more than a name and passing resemblance with the larger Desert Eagle guns in its family. The new Baby Eagle III is available with either a steel or a polymer frame in various configurations and calibers, all of which are manufactured by Israel Weapons Industries (IWI). Try one, you'll like it!īe smart.buy the original, not a copy.Magnum Research fans get to welcome a new member to the family with the arrival of the Baby Eagle III semiauto pistol. I have nothing to do with CZ but just love their guns and have many of them, all purchased since their arrival in the USA in the late 1990's. They currently have a pretty impressive line of guns including pistols, revolvers and 1911's by Dan Wesson, rilfes from 17HM2 to elephant calibers, excellent over/under and side by side shotguns imported from a CZ controlled factory in Turkey and more. Their prices have risen as their notoriety increased but they still represent the best value for the dollar. The results with the conversion is a very good and accurate 22LR target or tactical practice gun with the feel of your defense gun.ĬZ guns arrive in the USA in the late 1990's, kept from importation before that by iron curtain embargos by the US Government. If you also want a 22LR conversion for tactical practice the CZ Kadet is an excellent choice as it just drops onto the CZ75B frame. The 40S&W cartridge is a good thumper whose felt recoil pretty much matches the 45ACP but the gun size is closer to a 9mm pistol. If you do then you get probably the best tactical gun every invented by man and its all steel. Why not just buy the real thing.a CZ75B in 40S&W. The Baby Desert Eagle is a copy of the CZ75B with a few external differences to make it look more like a Desert Eagle.
